On Wednesday my best friend Jodie came over to have a mini birthday and to make things. Like usual we drank lots of tea and started chatting about all the things we could do together as a team, we like so much of the same things and are always on the same level!! We had a great day and I was so spoilt with presents, all I could do to make it up to her was supply her with lots of yummy food during the day.
One of the things she got me was this AMAZING Glitter necklace with my name on it from Chelsea Doll!! I have wanted one for months and when I finally got it I was so shocked and happy she remembered. I also got lots of other presents which was so lovely. Keeping on the topic of being crafty still, I made myself this pinafore dress. I had every intention of posting up a DIY post for you all but I forgot to take photos half way through! DOH! So I just have a snippet of how I did it and if you are good at sewing then please go make yourself one, they are so easy to do!!

I teamed it with this pretty pastel blue blouse with pearl bead detail from Awwdore. they also had a lilac one in the same style but really loved this colour. Awwdore have such an amazing range of pretty tops and blouses and it was hard to choose out of them because they are all lovely. So glad I chose this one though because my new glittery necklace goes perfectly with it!! hope you like the look.

Floral dress & Silver accessories.

 photo 6423b196-681e-4c7f-a154-bfcb6ed9bd55_zpsb04dd1a0.jpg
On a daily basis I love to browse different webstores for pretty clothes and accessories, always playing dress up in my head of what I would but if I had the money! So today was the same as many, however this time I just had to share my selection with you!! I never thought I would be considering buying silver shoes & bag, but when I saw Olivia (What Olivia Did) in a pair of silver disco style platforms last week I feel in love. I found this pare on Asos that sticks with the trend but also has a girly look about them, pretty much perfect for me. Asos also had this silver clutch bag which I thought would be a cute addition to the outfit.

The dress is from Avenue 32, a place I always keep an eye on but sadly cannot afford in my price range. That is not denying though the amount of beautiful items they have. I am lusting over so many currently, imagining owning them all (If I was a millionaire). this floral beauty in particular is one of my favorites, it has all the best parts of a highstreet style dress but with the quality of designer. the print is really pretty and I think it would be perfect for a summer wedding. the back has the lovely cross over detail which I love, and is overall a very sweet little number.

Any outfit in my eyes needs some headwear, and this time I headed over to Beauxoxo because I remembered seeing this navy wonder. What I love about it for this outfit in particular is the silver trim, it just makes it a bit more original and quirky! Any one want to buy me all these things please? I'll buy you a cookie in return :)

Rainy days in my home town.

I always feel quite strange now doing a blog post simply showing an outfit! Back in the day that's all I used to do but lately I always seem to have more to say. It feels good though to get a post up purely showing an outfit I have worn. This was from yesterday, it was raining heavily most of the day and what seemed appropriate was keeping comfortable. I got this denim blouse from Awwdore, and it seemed perfect for lounging around it. I wouldn't be me though if I didn't style it in a girly way, therefore adding the velvet skirt and cardie. This head band from Roses and Clementines matched the colour scheme perfectly and just felt right to wear! Hopefully you like the look!

Sunday stroll in the park.

Hello beauties, today I am actually managing to take photos of my outfit and post them in the same day, how crazy is that! I have had a lazy day so far, giving me time to play around with my outfit and accessories. I'm off to see Iron Man 3 soon with my boyfriend and good friend, so decided it would be nice to dress up a little. I got this stripe blouse and nude jacket from She Inside last week and they are the perfect match to each other. I have really been enjoying mixing different trends lately, especially trying on new jackets! I usually steer clear of anything with zips or things that look a bit edgy, as usually I feel really silly in them. However, I saw this jacket and it won me over because of the pretty pale pink colour! Another trend is monocrome, black and white stripes - I automatically think of Beetle juice when I see items like it, so fair to say it scared me off the style. Lately though, I have been a bit more confident in trying new things and I am pretty happy with how this looks. I added a few girly details of course, other wise I wouldn't feel like myself.
This beautiful embellished daisy necklace is from Topshop, and is a little treat I brought myself whilst in London. My yellow hair butterfly clip is from Beauxoxo, the perfect addition to any summer outfit! I hope you like it.
